Rosa is the story of epicurean friends who imagined a gathering place where people could simply come together around generous local cuisine.

Local roots

At Rosa, we start with what the region gives us. Roses anchovies, caught here and named after our city. Empordà wines, from the Mas Llunes winery just a few kilometers away. Foie gras marinated with Empordà muscat, Iberian secreto elevated with a ratafía sauce, that Catalan liqueur.

Premium products

At Rosa, we never compromise on ingredients. Balfegó tuna and wild tuna from Cádiz, two benchmark names recognized by enthusiasts. Iberian ham, foie gras, and a selection of cheeses. And in the cellar, even Billecart-Salmon champagne and Pago de los Capellanes from Ribera del Duero for those special occasions.

Signature dishes

Two dishes people come to Rosa for. Lobster paella, made to order, designed for a dinner for two. Monkfish and shrimp suquet, slow-cooked in the purest Catalan tradition.

Refined techniques

Rosa’s kitchen takes its time to do things right. Octopus ballotine on a pea cream with wasabi. Iberian secreto cooked at low temperature. Pork ribs confited overnight in a charcoal oven. Long cooking times and carefully plated dishes, for a truly unique lunch or dinner nearby.

The bar

At aperitif time, cocktails are best enjoyed by the water.

Here, the cocktail is crafted just like the rest of the menu. Our team creates house-made offerings and draws on a well-stocked cellar of spirits: fifteen gins, as many rums, everything needed to suit every craving.
